Central Records RegistryIn this section:
The Central Records Registry (CRR) is part of the Records Management Section. It is responsible for the day-to-day management of the the records of Policy and Planning (PP). The CRR manages the PP filing system which includes maintaining the filing scheme and referencing system, registering all new folders, storing folders that are not in use and issuing folders to authorised users. The CRR also provides practical records management guidance to PP colleagues on what to file and how to file. The Central Records Registry services are only available to PP colleagues. The CRR is not able to manage and maintain the records of other University departments, however it is hoped that the procedures used by the CRR and the experience of the CRR will be of assistance to other University departments. The PP Records Management Project is working to introduce new processes and procedures for managing PP records, which are being implemented by PP colleagues supported by the CRR.
