Course objectives

This course goes into more detail about how to ensure your new records management system has built-in structures to ensure your most crucial records and preserved.  The course objectives are to enable participants to:

  • Understand the concept of 'vital record',
  • Identify their section's vital records,
  • Adopt suitable methods of backing up and protecting vital records, and
  • Adopt vital records procedures and programmes.

Target audience

Practitioners with particular responsibility for records management
