A Records Lifecycle For Planning And Strategy FunctionsFunded by the JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee)In March 2003 the JISC announced that the University's two project bids in response to the circular "Supporting Institutional Records Management" had been successful. The two projects, 'A records lifecycle for planning and strategy functions' and Managing employee records in the higher education institutions/further educations institutions sector ran from May until October 2003. 'A records lifecycle for planning and strategy functions' tested the practical application of the planning and strategy-related themes from the Study of the Records Lifecycle (on JISC's web site - follow below link) by developing and commencing the implementation of a retention schedule for planning and strategy records created throughout the University of Edinburgh.
